Employment Dispute Mediator, Workplace Conflict Specialist,
HR Executive (30 Years)

Availability: In-Person Meeting, Virtual

With more than three decades of seniorlevel human resources experience, I bring deep subjectmatter expertise in employment law, workplace conflict, and organizational dynamics to my mediation practice. Throughout my career as a Global VPlevel HR executive, I have been directly involved in countless employmentrelated mediations, partnering closely with outside counsel to resolve complex and highstakes disputes. This background gives me a practical, realworld understanding of how employment conflicts arise, how they escalate, and, most importantly, how they can be resolved.

My mediation experience spans a wide range of employment matters, including wrongful termination, retaliation, disability and accommodation issues, FMLA and leave disputes, wage and compensation claims, harassment, discrimination, and hostile work environment allegations. I understand the legal, emotional, and organizational pressures that accompany these cases, and I help parties navigate them with clarity, respect, and strategic insight.

Over the years, I have worked with mediators who use facilitative, evaluative, and transformative approaches. I draw on all three, but my practice is grounded primarily in the facilitative model, which I have found to be the most effective in employment disputes. I focus on improving communication, clarifying interests, and guiding structured problemsolving, while remaining flexible enough to incorporate evaluative or transformative techniques when the situation calls for it. My goal is always to help parties move from entrenched positions toward meaningful dialogue and durable resolution.

experience

My approach is shaped by techniques I have used successfully throughout my HR career:

I am known for my ability to deescalate tension, build rapport quickly, and create an environment where parties can speak openly and explore solutions without fear of judgment. I bring empathy, professionalism, and a steady, grounded presence to every mediation.

My philosophy is simple:

Effective mediation requires neutrality, respect, and adaptability. The best outcomes emerge when parties feel safe, heard, and empowered to shape their own resolution.

This is the standard I bring to every case, and the foundation of the mediation practice I have built.
